To work, you must hold a valid Australia visa with work rights. There are many work visa options available including temporary and permanent visas under the Employer Sponsored Visa program. The most popular work visas are the skilled work visas, whereby the applicant works in sustainable employment while contributing to the Australian community.

Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL): you nominate an occupation from the CSOL if you are nominated by a state or territory government for a points tested visa, or applying for a direct entry stream Employer Nomination Scheme visa, or a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa.

The Applicant

To be eligible for this visa category, the applicant must provide evidence including job offers, work experience skills, qualifications, English language ability, health examinations, health insurance and family documentation. Usually the Australian company must also provide documentation supporting the employment of the applicant.
