A Scholarship is an award of financial aid and assistance for a student to further his or her education. Scholarships are awarded based upon various criteria, which usually reflect the values and purposes of the donor or founder of the award.

Scholarships are offered to high achieving students based on academic merit. To be eligible and considered, students must have very high marks in previous studies.

The Endeavour Programme

The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships offer support to non-Australians to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia.

All recipients will receive:

• Travel allowance: $3,000.
• Establishment allowance: $2,000 (Fellowships) or $4,000 (Scholarships)
• Monthly stipend: $3,000.
• Health insurance for the full programme duration.

Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Scholarship

• Provides financial support for non-Australians to undertake vocational education at a Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree level in any field in Australia for up to two and a half (2.5) years.
• The courses are directly related to a trade, occupation or 'vocation' in which the applicant participates. These courses exclude degree and higher level programmes normally delivered by universities.

Eligibility requirements:

• Be aged 18 years or over at the commencement of their programme.
• Be a citizen and/or permanent resident of a participating country.
• Commence their proposed programme after 1 January and no later than 30 November.
• Provide all relevant supporting documentation.
• Provide all relevant supporting documentation.
• Not currently hold or have completed, since 1 January 2013, an Australian Government sponsored scholarship and/or fellowship.
• Not apply for a category in which they have already completed an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship.

Eligible Universities: Any TAFE institution approved by Endeavour Programme at time of application.
